Svetlana Prokofiev is a Realtor Associate with Prudential Sawicki Real Estate. She works as a Buyer's and Seller's agent. Her customers' needs are her first priority. She is patient and proactive, constantly deepening her education. For now she has three professional designations: CRS (only 4 percent of realtors nationwide have this one), GRI, ABR. Being a native of Russia she speaks fluent Russian and English. After her graduation from the University Svetlana taught English and French at the Military College in Moscow and subsequently worked as a translator at the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Before coming to the United States, Prokofiev supervised the two Moscow offices of the Reuters News Agency for five years which gave her great business and international experience. Svetlana earned a master’s degree in English and French at the Moscow Pedagogical University. She lives in Amherst with her husband, Nickolay Prokofiev, who is full professor of physics at UMass., and their son, Ivan, who is a student at Cornell.
